Our Veterinarians
Dr. Amolakjit Sandhu
He was born and raised in the Inland Empire and completed his veterinary degree from St. Mathews University in 2016. He has always had a great passion for working with many types of animals ranging from dogs and cats to rabbits and guinea pigs. He completed his clinical year of veterinary medicine at Illinois State University which also introduced him to the amazing world of farm and large animals. Veterinary medicine gives him a chance to give a voice to those who cannot express themselves. Having 2 dogs of his own, he feels that being able to provide all furry family members with the compassion and care that they deserve, makes this career fulfilling and is the reason why he loves coming to work everyday. Bringing your pet to a veterinary hospital can be a stressful process in itself, but if decisions are made together, the best outcomes can be achieved!
Dr. Veronica Contreras
Dr. Contreras was born and raised in Southern California, living in various cities throughout Orange and Riverside county. She had a love of animals from an early age, and developed a love of science in school, which led her to her dream: becoming a veterinarian. After graduating as a valedictorian from her high school, she then went on to graduate cum lade with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California in Riverside. From there, she went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California Davis – School of Veterinary Medicine.
She then worked as a general practitioner for a few years, where she enjoyed interpreting bloodwork results and performing surgeries. However, she eventually had a dog come to her with the sudden inability to use her back legs. Although her family could not afford a back surgery, they were very dedicated to their fur baby, and brought her in for a check up with Dr. Contreras every week, and also started taking her elsewhere for some acupuncture sessions. And within a couple months, she was running circles around the exam room again!
Having witnessed this amazing recovery, Dr. Contreras decided to take a deeper look into integrative medicine, and loved what she found. She then went back to school to acquire her acupuncture certification, which allowed her to leave her general practice job to completely focus on integrative medicine. She then did another year of study for her rehabilitation certification, and hopes to continue to expand her knowledge in the future, to better serve her patients, and their families.
Dr. Contreras loves being able to help her patients feel better, and giving them the ability to live their lives to the fullest! She also enjoys being able to see her patients regularly enough to build relationships with them, and their families.
When she’s not working, Dr. Contreras enjoys spending time with her family, and doing things with her hands – like woodworking, crafting, and crocheting. One of her recently completed projects is a catio for her cat, who is afraid to go outside but loves chatting with the birds!
Dr. Diana Navarro
Dr. Navarro was raised in California and attended and graduated from UC Davis in 2018. She is hard working and has a passion for helping animals and does everything she can to make difference. She loves to treat cats, dogs and pocket pets and is the proud owner of a 2 year old Golden Retriever, Zelda, and 2 dachshunds named Sally and Kenobi. On her free time, Dr. Navarro enjoys traveling and visiting national parks. She also dedicates her time volunteering to help and care for animals at the animal shelter. She loves all things cats and fosters kitties for the shelter to help find them loving homes. Dr. Navarro has been a great addition to the team and is excited to meet you and your fur babies.

I have always had a love for animals and grew up volunteering to gain experience. I have currently been working in the veterinary field for 6 years, I graduated in 2018 with my Associates of Animal Science and certification in Veterinary Technology. My passion is to educate clients about veterinary medicine and proper care. In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my fur-babies (Drogon & Nymeria), spending time with my bunny (Pumpkin) , and being around family/ friends. I also still look for opportunities to volunteer. I look forward to meeting you and your family at your next visit.

Rachel
Ever since I was kid I’ve always wanted to work with animals and devote my life to veterinary medicine. I’ve been in the field for about 4 years living the dream. When I’m not at the hospital, I’m working at my other job selling vinyl records/ CDs/ cassettes and more. When not working, my hobbies are to skateboard, go to punk shows and on adventures to nature spots. My whole world is my cat Germ, a 3 year old black cat with big eyes who tends to be quite spicy like a California reaper, but she still loves me… most days.
